Privacy Policy

Subtuli ("we", "us", "the app") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what data we process when you use the Subtuli mobile app and how we protect it.

Subtuli does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you contact support yourself.

Device identifier: on first launch the app generates an anonymous random identifier (UUID) and stores it in secure storage (Keychain). It is not linked to your identity and is used only to associate your subscription with the device.

Audio for transcription: when you create subtitles, the audio track of your video is sent to our server and on to a speech-recognition provider solely to produce subtitle text.

Usage data: we keep technical records of transcription requests (device identifier, time, audio size) to prevent abuse and enforce limits. The content of your video or subtitles is not stored.

Data is processed only to provide the app’s features: Ukrainian speech recognition, subtitle generation, subscription management, and protecting the service from abuse.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Speech recognition: audio is processed by a speech-to-text provider to convert speech into text. Audio is transmitted over a secure connection and used only for this operation.

Apple: subscriptions are handled through the App Store. Payment details are processed by Apple — we have no access to card numbers or payment credentials.

Audio submitted for transcription is not retained after processing completes. Finished subtitles and projects remain locally on your device.

Technical usage records are kept for the limited period needed for rate limiting and security, then deleted.

Deleting the app removes local data from your device. To delete the record associated with your device identifier on the server, contact us.

Subtuli is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

You may request access to, or deletion of, data associated with your device identifier by emailing our support address.

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page.
